Yellow Saddle’s Johan Bornman is a popular speaker at club gatherings. He is well-known in the cycling fraternity and often controversial in his approach to bicycles. He currently presents a series on DSTV’s SuperCycling on bicycle maintenance but is perhaps better known for his first TV series on Busting Popular Cycling Myths, where he exposed the mechanisms behind balancing on a bicycle (not through gyroscopic forces) and how a wheel supports the hub (by standing on the bottom spokes)
Johan is available to talk at clubs and other cycling gatherings on any of the following topics:
- Popular Cycling Myths
- The history of the modern bicycle
- Understanding Braking and Descending for Fast Cyclists.
- The history of the bicycle wheel
Talks range between 90 minutes and 2 hours and Cost R1200 for local (Johannesburg) venues and R1200 plus travelling for out of town venues. He also presents on tour, and readily partakes in bicycle tours.
Book him for your next club function by sending him an e-mail or calling him on 082-3086847. |
