I custom-build road, mountain and tandem wheels. I also undertake wheelbuilding for wheelchairs and other slender-spoke wheels.
Wheels built from new components carry a life-long guarantee on workmanship and spoke breakages from metal fatigue. Trauma-breakages such as spokes broken by sticks are not covered by this guarantee, nor are existing wheels brought in for truing or repair. Free tune-ups on wheels built by me are available on a carry-in basis.

Order a set of wheels with 144 bladed spokes and make me rich.
I will re-use your old hubs if you wish, but I won’t re-build a wheel with used spokes or damaged or fatigued rims.
We source and use Italian DRC rims and SAPIM spokes from Belgium. Both these components are of the highest quality and have proven themselves worthy of Yellow Saddle lifetime guarantee.
You are welcome to buy your own rims and bring your hubs of choice. We dont source Shimano hubs locally since the local importer refuses to supply specialised wheelbuilders like myself. Should you want a Shimano hub (for instance, Shimano tandem hubs are really good), we source it from the US for you at a similar or lower price than local retailers can supply. It takes about ten days to arrive.

There is something inherently beautiful about a handbuilt wheel created around a top-class hub.
